Summary:
This bill would lower the compulsory attendance age from 7 to 5, adding two years to the mandatory reporting requirements for homeschoolers.

Action Requested:
None at this time. The legislature is now closed.

HSLDA's Position:
Oppose. This bill would require homeschoolers to fulfill the approval requirements of Minnesota law for two additional years.
