Legislative Document 177: An Act to Ensure that Emergency Medical Help is Available to All School Children and Personnel
Sponsor:
Representative Mary Black Andrews, Republican
Summary:
As originally worded, the bill would have required all school administrative units, including all private schools, to ensure that all personnel were certified in CPR. It was successfully amended so that only state funded private schools and public schools would need to mandate that personnel be certified in CPR.

| 06/02/2003 | Carried over to the 2004 session. | |
| 01/08/2004 | Heard in Committee, voted on, and ought to pass as amended. Scott Woodruff spoke to the bill's sponsor, and she said that the bill had been amended to make the CPR training voluntary, but we have not confirmed this. | |
