Summary:
Adding a new section to the Maryland Constitution to establish that only a marriage between a man and a woman is valid in the state; establishing that specified unions or relationships between individuals of the same sex are not valid in the state; and submitting the amendment to the qualified voters of the State of Maryland for their adoption or rejection.
