House Bill 1040: Compulsory School Attendance Age Expansion

Summary:
Increasing the age range for compulsory public school attendance in Prince George’s County to 5 years old and older and under 18 years old; and requiring persons with legal custody or care and control of children who reside in Prince George’s County and who are between the ages of 5 years old and under 18 to see that the children attend school as required.
