House Bill 48: An Act Concerning Maryland's Marriage Protection Act

Summary:
The legislature closed without this bill becoming law.

The bill would have amended the Maryland Constitution to say that only marriage between a man and a woman is valid. Civil unions or relationships between parties of the same sex are also invalid.
