House Bill 761: An Act Concerning Education: Reform and State Accountability Act of 2004

Delegates Owings, O'Donnell, Bartlett, Costa, Dwyer, and Sossi

Summary:
Restructuring of the Maryland State Board of Education: State Superintendent and members of the State Board of Education will be elected, and other favorable changes will be instituted. The Maryland Legislature adjourned before this bill could be considered, thus resulting in the death of the bill.
