Action Requested:
After hearing from homeschool families the detrimental affects this bill would have, Representative Nelson has withdrawn this bill. It is no longer up for consideration. Thanks for your quick and decisive action!
HSLDA's Position:
Opposed. This bill is bad for homeschoolers because it takes away two years of freedom. It is bad for students who want to learn because it forces disruptive students to attend class against their will. It is bad for taxpayers because it increases school budgets.
