Senate Bill 2755: Marriage Amendment

Summary:
Amends the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act. Provides that only marriage between one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized in Illinois. Provides that the uniting of persons of the same sex in a civil union, domestic partnership, or other similar same sex relationship shall not be valid or recognized in Illinois.
