Senate Bill 1023: Opens Up Kindergarten to 4-Year Olds Author: Summary: We oppose this bill opening up school to 4-year olds because in our experience, this is usually a precursor to making it mandatory. We believe early education is not effective, wastes taxpayers’ money, and expands the state’s control over children. Status:
