House Bill 834: Expanding Basis for Immunization Exemptions

Summary:
Current law exempts a child from immunizations if the parent or legal guardian objects on the basis of religious beliefs. This bill would expand the basis for the exemption to “any other grounds.” HSLDA supports this expansion of parental rights.
