House Bill 524: Requiring Approved Home Study Programs
Representatives Mayo of the 91st, Willard of the 49th, Millar of the 79th, Hugley of the 133rd, and Stephenson of the 92nd
Among other things, this bill would add language to the compulsory attendance law and require that a child be placed in an “approved” home study program. Home study programs are not approved under current law. This bill does not indicate who would approve the program or by what criteria it would be approved.
