House Bill 1428: Lowering Teacher Qualifications for Tutors
Representative Lynn Westmoreland (R-District 86)
This bill would permit parents to hire a tutor to conduct a home study program if the proposed tutor has a high school diploma or GED. Current law requires that the tutor have a bachelor's degree.
