House Bill 6977: An Act Mandating the HPV Vaccination

Summary:
This bill would require a child in a public or nonpublic school to receive the human papilloma virus vaccine prior to entering the sixth grade. HSLDA believes that decisions about whether to receive such a vaccine should be made by parents after consulting with medical professionals, not the state.
