House Bill 2019: Prohibiting Public School Students with Unexcused Absences from Homeschooling

Summary:
This bill would authorize school districts to place students under disciplinary action for any kind of absences, even those caused by illness, accident, or other unavoidable reasons. Any student placed under disciplinary action because of these absences would not be eligible to begin homeschooling.
