Senate Bill 305: “Tim Tebow Act”

Senator Henry E. “Hank” Erwin

Summary:
To be known as the “Tim Tebow Act,” this bill would permit students being taught by a private tutor or being at home in a church school to participate in extracurricular activities at public school. It would also authorize these same students to participate in a non-public school’s extracurricular activities if the non-public school permitted it.

Status:
2/5/2009 Pending Education Committee Action in House of Origin

Bill died when legislature adjourned.
