House Bill 52: A Bill Regarding Driver’s Education Requirements
This is a driver’s license bill which would require a person under 18 to have graduated from high school or be enrolled in school or an educational program in order to get a driver’s license. It is uncertain whether students in a home education program would have qualified for a license.
HSLDA opposes this bill. It should be amended to clarify that students in a home education program qualify to get a driver’s license.
