2010 Student Contest Winners

It is with great pleasure that we announce the results of the 2010 Student Video Contest. This was our inaugural video competition, and we were excited by the enthusiastic participation. You will find the results listed below by category.

Students were asked to produce videos according to a pair of themes—one per category. For Category I (homeschoolers age 10–14) the theme was “Generosity is…”. For Category II (homeschoolers age 15–19) the theme was “Sacrifice is…”.

There were two methods by which winners were chosen—via a panel of judges and also through a popular online vote. Each of the top winners, (Ellen LeRoy and Danielle Wilson) won both the judges’ top pick and the online vote. The 2nd place winners, (Paige Baker, and Micky Fitzsche) placed 2nd with the judges and with the online vote.
