2010 Winners
It is with great pleasure that we announce the results of the 2010 HSLDA Photo Contest. Thank you for making it a great success. You will find the names of the winners listed below by category.
For 2010, students were asked to submit a photo using the appropriate proverb, simile, or idiom as their theme. For Category 1 (ages 7–10), the proverb was: “Actions speak louder than words.” For Category 2 (ages 11–14) the simile was: “As useless as a chocolate teapot.” For Category 3, (ages 15–19) the idiom was: “A blessing in disguise.”
